Maxi Mums (BBC radio)

Discussing the rise of the ‘maxi-mum’ on BBC and commercial radio stations including podcasts and webcasts for Heart, Capital and Clyde1, September 2009. The maxi mum is the new parent on the block, a woman with savvy spending habits both with her time and her purse. Move over yummy mummy, the maxi mum is here and she’s happy, confident and content to be ‘good enough’ - who cares about perfection? There’s more to life than looking good. Jessica Chivers on Maxi Mums, BBC Radio Kent discussing mums competing at the school gates, Primark and self-esteem and that chat that went on when we thought the recording had stopped….

The Feelgood Economy (BBC radio)

The Thinking Woman’s Coach designed a ‘complimentary coaching’ workshop and worked with 29 women to build their ability to give and receive compliments on behalf of NIVEA Body and Unity PR. It was a really rewarding project that led to a series of live and pre-record interviews for BBC regional radio stations and commercial stations across the UK, discussing the link between complimenting and women’s self-esteem and confidence.

British Singles Time (BBC radio)

The Thinking Woman’s Coach was asked to discuss the psychology of dating, confidence and flirting for www.datingdirect.com in a short film and series of radio interviews. Again, great fun and a pleasure to do.
